Up to July 21, there have been 301 murders in Trinidad and Tobago. The crime solution rate is abysmal and 86% of the murders go unsolved. Given that many of the police posted throughout the country are SRPs and may have no education beyond primary level (if even that), the issue really is how many of them are perpetrators of crimes including murder.
